I am a postdoctoral scholar at Iowa State University who has a passion for improving communities and public health. I work closely with the Child Welfare Research and Training project, whose mission is to develop, deliver, and evaluate programming to ensure that Iowa’s children, youth, families, and communities receive services and care informed by science and best practices that lead to safety and overall well-being. I am also a University Translational Research Network (U-TuRN) ambassador, assisting in efforts to promote sustainable community systems that enable healthy lifestyles. As a member of the Board of Directors for UWSC, I can continue to serve our youth and communities."
